Terms & Conditions
Last updated September 18, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the VEDA Hair & Glow Rituals website and your booking, purchase, membership, and use of services from VEDA Hair & Glow Rituals LLC (“VEDA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website, booking an appointment, enrolling in a membership, or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms and to any additional policy shown to you before checkout or booking.
1 Services and Professional Scope
VEDA provides cosmetic hair, scalp, facial, threading, waxing, and related beauty and relaxation services within the professional scope of the individual providing the service. Services are not medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, injury, or health condition.
Results vary by person, hair and skin characteristics, service history, products used, and aftercare. Descriptions, photographs, and examples are illustrative and do not guarantee a particular result. We may decline, modify, pause, or stop a service when we reasonably believe it is unsuitable, outside professional scope, or unsafe.
2 Eligibility and Minors
You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a binding purchase or membership agreement. A minor may receive an eligible service only with any parent or legal guardian consent and presence required by VEDA or applicable law. Certain services may be unavailable to minors.
3 Appointments
Appointments are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive confirmation from VEDA or our booking provider. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and reviewing confirmation messages.
Please arrive on time. Late arrival may shorten the service, require a service change, or result in rescheduling so later clients are not delayed. Appointment cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, card-on-file, late-arrival, and no-show rules displayed during booking or in your confirmation are incorporated into these Terms. Any applicable fee will be disclosed through the booking process.
4 Consultation and Client Disclosures
Before a service, tell your provider about relevant allergies, sensitivities, injuries, recent procedures, products, medications, pregnancy, skin or scalp conditions, prior reactions, and other circumstances that could affect service suitability. VEDA may require a consultation, patch test, consent form, or service waiver. A patch test or prior uneventful service cannot eliminate the possibility of a reaction.
If you experience unexpected pain, burning, dizziness, irritation, or another concern during a service, notify the provider immediately. Seek qualified medical advice for medical concerns or adverse reactions.
5 Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. A price stated as “from” is a starting price and may vary based on factors disclosed during consultation, including hair length, density, condition, product use, service complexity, or time required. We will communicate material price changes before beginning the affected service.
Payment is due at the time specified during booking or checkout. Applicable taxes, deposits, gratuities, and fees will be handled as shown at booking or payment. Payments may be processed by Vagaro or another third-party payment processor under that provider’s terms.
6 Memberships
Membership benefits are limited to the plan and services described at enrollment. Monthly memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis until canceled. By enrolling, you authorize the payment method on file to be charged the stated monthly price and applicable taxes on each renewal date.
Membership services and complimentary add-ons are personal to the member, have no cash value, may not be transferred or resold, and expire at the end of the applicable monthly billing cycle unless the enrollment terms expressly state otherwise. Unused benefits do not roll over. Benefits cannot be combined with another promotion unless VEDA agrees in writing.
To prevent the next monthly charge, submit a cancellation request at least five calendar days before the next billing date by emailing vedaglowrituals@gmail.com or using an available account cancellation method. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current paid billing cycle. Except where law requires otherwise, amounts already charged are nonrefundable and no partial-month refunds or credits are provided. VEDA may change membership pricing or benefits prospectively after providing advance notice required by law; you may cancel before the change takes effect.
If a membership payment is declined, benefits may be paused until payment is resolved. VEDA may suspend or terminate a membership for misuse, fraud, abusive conduct, repeated policy violations, or discontinuation of a plan, subject to applicable law.
7 Cancellations by VEDA
VEDA may reschedule or cancel an appointment because of provider illness, safety concerns, equipment or facility issues, emergencies, or events beyond reasonable control. If VEDA cancels a prepaid service, we will offer rescheduling, a credit, or a refund of the amount paid for the canceled service, as appropriate.
8 Refunds and Service Concerns
Because beauty and personal-care services involve time, labor, and consumable products, completed services are generally nonrefundable except where required by law. If you have a concern, contact VEDA as soon as reasonably possible so we can review it. Any adjustment, correction, credit, or refund is determined based on the circumstances and applicable law. Retail product returns, if offered, are subject to the policy disclosed at purchase and hygiene and safety restrictions.
9 Client Conduct and Safety
Treat providers, staff, other clients, and property respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, unsafe conduct, intoxication, unlawful activity, or inappropriate behavior is not permitted. VEDA may stop a service, require a person to leave, refuse future service, or contact authorities when reasonably necessary to protect safety and operations.
10 Website Use and Intellectual Property
The website and its text, graphics, logos, service names, photographs, design, and other content are owned by or licensed to VEDA and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, scrape, frame, sell, or exploit website content without prior written permission.
You may not interfere with website operation or security, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, use the website unlawfully, or submit false or misleading information.
11 Third Party Services
The website may use or link to third-party services, including booking, payment, map, and social-media providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. VEDA is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
12 Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
13 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VEDA and its members, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, arising from the website or services. VEDA’s aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid VEDA for the service or transaction giving rise to that claim.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other nonwaivable rights.
14 Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse VEDA for reasonable losses, claims, and expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, your material breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights. This section does not require you to indemnify VEDA for VEDA’s own negligence or unlawful conduct.
15 Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, you and VEDA agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally by written notice and at least 30 days for a response. If the matter is not resolved, claims may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in King County, Washington, unless applicable law permits or requires another forum. Nothing in this section limits a right to bring an eligible claim in small-claims court or to seek relief from a government agency.
16 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated or required by law. Material changes to recurring membership terms will be communicated as required by law.
17 General Terms
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and policies disclosed at booking or purchase form the agreement relating to the relevant website use or transaction.
