Privacy Policy
Last updated September 18, 2026
VEDA Hair & Glow Rituals LLC (“VEDA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, contact us, book or receive services, purchase or use a membership, or otherwise interact with us.
1 Information We Collect
Information you provide. We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, appointment and service preferences, messages, membership information, transaction details, and other information you choose to provide through our website, by telephone or email, in person, or through our booking provider.
Service and wellness information. To help determine whether a service is appropriate, we may ask about information relevant to hair, scalp, skin, waxing, threading, or facial services, such as sensitivities, allergies, reactions, products used, medications, pregnancy, injuries, skin or scalp conditions, and other contraindications. Please provide only information that is relevant to your requested service.
Booking and payment information. Appointments, memberships, deposits, and payments may be processed through Vagaro or another service provider. Those providers may collect payment-card and account information directly under their own privacy policies. VEDA generally receives transaction and booking details rather than complete payment-card numbers.
Website information. When you use our website, we and our service providers may automatically receive device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, referral information, approximate location derived from IP address, and cookie or similar technology data.
2 How We Use Information
We may use information to respond to inquiries; schedule, confirm, change, and provide appointments; personalize services; administer memberships and payments; send transactional messages; maintain client and business records; improve our website and services; prevent fraud and protect safety; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We may send promotional email or text messages only as permitted by law and based on the choices or consent you provide. You may opt out of marketing emails through the unsubscribe method provided and may opt out of marketing texts by following the instructions in the message. Transactional messages about appointments, purchases, or memberships may still be sent.
3 How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to service providers that support our operations, such as website hosting, contact-form delivery, appointment scheduling, payment processing, customer communications, analytics, IT support, and professional advisers. Current website features may involve providers such as Hostinger, Vagaro, embedded map providers, Instagram, and Facebook. When you follow a third-party link or use an embedded third-party feature, that provider may collect information directly under its own terms and privacy policy.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process; to protect the rights, safety, and property of VEDA, our clients, or others; or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of our business.
VEDA does not sell personal information for money. VEDA does not sell consumer health data. We do not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we first provide any notice, choice, or consent required by applicable law.
4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website and its providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for site operation, security, preferences, booking, embedded content, or measurement. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, although parts of the website may not function properly. If we add nonessential analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this Policy and provide any controls required by applicable law.
5 Washington Consumer Health Data
Washington law may treat information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to a consumer and relates to physical or mental health as consumer health data. Depending on what you choose to share and the service requested, this may include hair, scalp, skin, allergy, sensitivity, medication, pregnancy, reaction, or contraindication information.
We collect such information directly from you, or from a person acting at your direction, to evaluate service suitability, personalize and provide a requested service, document preferences or reactions, communicate with you, protect client and provider safety, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. We may disclose it only as reasonably necessary to personnel or independent professionals providing your service; booking, recordkeeping, IT, or other processors acting under contract; professional advisers; or authorities when legally required. The specific providers involved may change, and you may contact us for a current list.
Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation of whether we collect, share, or sell consumer health data; access that data and receive a list of third parties and affiliates with whom it was shared or sold; withdraw consent; or request deletion. You may appeal a denial by replying to our decision and stating that you wish to appeal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We do not use geofences around health-care facilities to identify or collect consumer health data.
Where Washington’s My Health My Data Act applies, VEDA will obtain consent for collection or sharing that is not necessary to provide a product or service you requested, and separate valid authorization before any sale. This section does not replace any separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy or consent that applicable law requires.
6 Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
7 Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain. No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8 Your Privacy Choices and Requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or ask questions about our practices. To submit a request, email vedaglowrituals@gmail.com or write to the address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, such as when information must be retained for legal, security, accounting, or transaction purposes.
9 Children
Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Services for minors may require the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
10 Third Party Services and Links
Our website may link to or embed services operated by third parties. VEDA does not control their privacy or security practices. Review the applicable third party’s privacy policy before providing information to it.
11 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
